Dr. Tanya Sitter grew up in Airdrie and is now living west of Carstairs, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc. in 2000. Following her desire to become involved in health care, Dr. Sitter went on to the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and graduated with honors in 2004.
It was an easy decision to return to Alberta and join Olds Eyecare Clinic. In 2004, Dr. Sitter did her internship in Olds. She has been on several third world eyecare missions including Nepal, Guatemala, New Zealand, Africa, Phpilippines and Mexico. Dr. Sitter served as a council member on both the Canadian Association of Optometry and Alberta Association of Optometry. Dr. Sitter has a special interest in pediatrics and dry eyes.
In her spare time, Tanya enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, 2 boy and her dogs. Dr. Sitter welcomes new patients and practices in Sundre, Carstairs and Olds.
