Dr. Jennifer Verrett was born and raised in Regina, SK. She completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology at the University of Regina then continued her studies at the University of Waterloo where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Honours. She earned the College of Optometrists of Ontario General Proficiency Award at convocation.
Following graduation she began her career at Olds Eyecare and Sundre Eyecare where she had done an externship as a student. During her time in school, Dr. Verrett also participating in an optometric mission trip to Senegal, Africa, and she hopes to participate in more of these mission trips in the future.
Dr. Verrett has a special interest in ocular disease and pediatrics but always looks forward to providing eye care for all patients. When not in the clinic, Dr. Verrett enjoys yoga, reading, and exploring nature through a multitude of outdoor activities.
