Dr. Allan Jones was raised in Calgary and attended University in both Calgary and Oregon. He practices in the Bonavista Eye Clinic, Olds Eyecare Clinic and at the Rockyview Hospital, for over 30 years.
He is the past president of the Alberta Association of Optometrists current board member for Eye Recommend and a founding member of the charitable organization Canadian Vision Care.
When not practicing at home, Dr. Jones can be found travelling the world providing eye care to nations and areas in need. He was instrumental in the start up of an Optometry school in Malawi, Africa, help to found the EyeTrain project in Manila, Philippines and many other projects in Central America and other destinations. He enjoys full scope family optometry practice.
